Donations through Payroll Deduction
Did you know that many employers will match an employees donation to non-profits ? Did you know that, when United Way is on a donation list of your employer that you can specify which non-profit you would like your portion of the donation to go to ?
To find out more about these programs, ask your employer for the appropriate forms. It only takes you a few minutes to fill out the forms, and then your donation amount to your favorite non-profit can be as much as doubled or even tripled.
You can, with some companies, request that they deduct a donation from your paycheck. All you need to make the donation payable to us is our information. If you are interested, you can call or write, requesting the information.
Every dollar makes a huge difference; there’s no such thing as a “small” donation, and then, if it can be increased for just a few minutes of your time, why not go for it ??
